1) Answer:

• How was your school report? (answer with a whole sentence, say at least six subjects)

2) Six children played together yesterday. Choose six verbs and say sentences about what the children did (use the ordinal numbers – e.g. The first child…).

3) Look at the picture and answer the questions (page 2).

4) Read and draw the pictures (page 1).

5) Put the words into the correct order to create questions and translate them (page 2).

6) Say in a few sentences how you celebrated Easter at home.

7) Write the numbers 1-4 into your exercise book and then listen and write down the correct season:

• One. The days are long and the weather is very hot. It is the holidays and children don’t go to school. They can play many games, read books or go to the wood and pick mushrooms and blueberries.

  Two. The weather is very cold. It snows a lot and the days are very short. Everybody looks forward to Christmas. People bake cookies, buy presents and wrap them in coloured paper to prepare for the holiday.

  Three. The weather is still cold, but it gets warmer. Sometimes it snows, sometimes it rains and sometimes the sun shines. In the garden we can see the first flowers and there are many baby animals outside.

  Four. The school starts again and the weather gets colder. The leaves fall down from the trees and turn red, orange or yellow. We can pick many fruits and vegetables like pumpkins, apples or carrots.

8) Draw your own map with places and buildings (write down their names), then pick one and write instructions how to get to it from the starting point (e.g. Turn right.) Switch your textbook with a friend and see if they can find the correct place (page 2).
